About
My work considers the everyday arrangements we take for granted. Most of my life has followed established routines and clear expectations, which has made me attentive to the rules we learn to live by. I question how these rules shape our relationship with physical spaces and everyday objects, and what we come to see as normal or appropriate.
Found situations and self-portraiture offer different starting points for my practice. Some works grow out of observation; others involve staging situations or reworking photographic images. I use my body as both a subject and a way to test ideas. A playful approach leaves room for chance and experimentation to shape the work as it develops.
This way of working helps me interrupt my own habits of seeing and responding. Through small discoveries and unexpected actions, I try to find different ways of engaging with the world around me. It remains ambiguous whether I am adapting to the order around me or finding ways to resist it.
